What to do with old glasses cases?

We collect old eyeglasses for people for a charity called Vision Aid Overseas that can reuse them to people in developing countries. However, they do not want the case, then we will be stuck with a couple of hundred people. It seems a little ashamed to throw. Does anyone has any (good and clean) suggestions on what we can do with them?

Decorate them and sell them or give them as kits, small jewelry boxes or gift boxes for watches, necklaces, etc.
