Why is it that the use of polarized glasses is not recommended for use when using planes?

I 'm a pilot and I heard through the grapevine that the use of polarized sunglasses in the cockpit is a bad idea because you can not see gauges or LCD or something or another by these lines. If anyone has any real information on this subject, I give you ten points. Thank you you.

Hi, Im a pilot and I just bought myself some sunglasses polarized despite the info on the net that says this is not recommended. I found on the net several arguments discourage polarized glasses, for reasons that have been said by others above …. ie it may prevent you from seeing the LCD screens, GPS screens, etc. from certain angles and it interferes with the vision through windshield plastic (which will prevent you from seeing the colors of stress in the plastic that can be distracting or completely blacking your vision. I also saw people on the net say it actually reduces the flash of light "reflected from the sun on the wing of the movement. There are many testimonies on the net that suggest strongly that all these elements can be a major roblem. There are few articles that examine the positive lenses polarized. They help you see through the fog better and give you a good contrast of clouds in the sky. I found the arguments against glasses polarized sun quite convincingly, however, for the type of flying I do, the types of planes, I fly and places, I flew in. .. and have more fish I fly, I made the right choice to go polarized. Having said that, I always make sure I have a pair of sunnies Aviation Non Polarized nearby, just in case. If you're in America, then you may want to check the recommendations of the FAA against the polarized glasses. By the way I'm an Aussie … polarized us out with an "s" and not "z", so I havent misspelled it! I want to emphasize that you need check the sunglasses that you'll fly. My partners car had LCD screens that used to "black out" when you wear lenses polarized at certain angles of my head, however my screen cars were very good. It happens, it just depends on the glass used!
