What is the best paint to use for painting eyeglass frames in plastic?

I just bought a pair of eyeglasses online vintage plastic, the shape is perfect (ive been searching everywhere for this form), but I hate the color. Which is more sustainable and less toxic (as it will sit on my face for long periods of time) of paint to use? I thought of using spray paint for plastic, but I'm not sure if thats the best choice.

I know you want but I really do not want to paint, especially spray on your glasses. They will close your eyes and will probably be bad for them but the paint is nontoxic. I am sure that color is not so bad.
