How do you get your idea across without stepping over the powers of your supervisor?

If you work on a major project which reflects not only your department but also the public relations director. If you feel you have really good ideas but your supervisor keeps putting your ideas and you really want to try them but I refused. It seems like the only option would be to demonstrate your ideas to the director, but at the same time, you would not to not more power to your supervisor. However, you feel strongly about your ideas that you feel to take that risk. What is the best way to make up This director without stepping on the toes of anybody.

Your supervisor has explained why he / she keeps you from trying your ideas? Do you provide answers to these reasons or concerns? Otherwise, you might start by asking a short meeting to go over them. Before the meeting, try to think what the risks are and how to minimize or mitigate, if you have any answers to the arguments of your supervisor. If you've been informed of the reasons not to move your ideas, but you did not answer, you can make a written proposal. In the proposal, the state the current way of doing things, your suggestions, the benefits of your way and have a section on risk analysis covering the objections of the boss and your answers. You can submit a piece of your supervisor or you can cc the director too. You can even CC team, if you wanted to look like open communication. This way, you're not behind the back of the supervisor, you are just, including the director in the loop. In addressing your supervisor, you are wrong on its head – not openly, at least. In a subtle way, you make sure the director to see him and giving a chance to push for it if s.he loves ideas. You can also monitor and seek advice directly, "just to get another perspective." If you think this will lead to a problem with your supervisor, your only real option is to request a private meeting with the director and the platforms that you want to step on toes, but you are prompted repeatedly shot and feel your ideas are good enough and important enough to see the Director about. Even if you end up doing so by presenting a written form is a good idea.
