If the rim basketball is a half-inch above do not affect your jump shot?

I played basketball in two different gyms. One gym rim basketball is a half-inch higher than the gym to deter people from dipping. The question is, if I try jumping 50 shots in the same way Will I have the same percentage of the objective facts on the ground?

Yes it affects your shot. And I do not see how a half-inch discourage anyone dip.
