Cheap glasses at the Vancouver, BC area?

Hello everybody! Can anyone tell me where I can get cheap / glasses low-ish? The lovely little shop I used to buy sank so they decided to retire. I'm just went for my regular check and the office of the optometrist (granted, they are generally more expensive) quoted me $ 300-400 for just glasses! More anti-glare, etc. Up to $ 500 +. Uhhhh, no, I think in the past, I've never spent more than $ 175. I low prescription, but they want me to pass progressive (or bifocals). She also said that people often complain of progressive, so if someone of you has experience with them, I'd love to hear! Thank you MUCHO!
