Can I use black executives in a room that has white borders?

I turned one of our spare rooms in an office. My husband played football college so that is the subject. I painted the walls a very bold copper and gold (team colors). The door and trim are all white as it is throughout our home. I have full blown Great pictures of him playing football are all in black frames. I try to do as inexpensive as possible. The black frames look tacky with the white plate?

Hang some pictures first. If you do not, then paint the frames white.
