Can you tell the difference between glasses fake and authentic designer?

I recently purchased a part of Marc Jacobs show online. It costs about 140 USD (it had 40% discount, the dealer said). The problem is the "Made in Italy" written inside the temple part easily faded when I sweat. But the code name (EC MJ 054 807 135) located at one site is not. So is the "Marc Jacobs" wrote (and hopefully, Not Fade Away). Is this a sign of piece designer imitation?
