Will opticians soured as footprintz survive glasses mail order?

I posted a question on the forum about an optical delivery problem with the glasses of an Internet source. An optician with the handle footprintz got on his high horse and I was reprimanded for purchase glasses from a foreign source, especially in Hong Kong. Footprintz that does not say is that virtually ALL of the glasses in the United States are manufactured in China and he and his brothers mark Eyeware regularly until about 1000%. That is one thousand percent. Once the public gets wise to this problem, do you think bricks and mortar opticians have a future?

1000% Increase … Are you nuts? You no idea what the costs are laboratories that we buy lenses, or prices of property managers … Italian, German and Japanese executives. I have several frames shop which cost me over 100.00 .. and consistently pay 200.00 or more for top brand progressive lenses with the top coatings row. With glasses at this price, my code is only about 50% … they cost me 300.00, 450.00 you pay … that includes my expertise in assembling all adjustments, and a full one year warranty 2 …. and … you are getting quality product that has been mounted for you by a professional. The correct installation glasses can not be done without seeing the person. … In any case what I have said earlier was not crying over a delay .. Service is what you Pay … and your local economy is what allows you to keep a job too. We are not in business to screw people … no matter what you think. The secular plea was not the slightest idea of the complexity with the glasses, and the knowledge to do it right. And they have even less of a clue to the differences in product quality. All I was saying is … you want cheap .. you got it, do not complain because you did a very good service on the site Online. It should be expected. And I'm not worried about the future, most people do not mind paying more to get the job done, and have a place to go when they have a problem. When I have a problem with my car, I want the mechanic to work, not the kid behind the service counter parts.
